JUCO offensive lineman Issiah Walker commits to Colorado

Colorado took a step forward in rebuilding its offensive line by adding a commitment from Issiah Walker

Two days after head coach Deion Sanders vowed to rebuild Colorado’s offensive line, the Buffs received a commitment from former four-star prospect Issiah Walker on Monday.

The 6-foot-5, 290-pound offensive tackle currently plays at Butler Community College in Kansas. Out of high school, though, he signed with Florida as a member of the 2020 recruiting class before transferring to Miami (Fla.) in May of 2020. He then made his way to the junior college ranks.

This past offseason, he committed to Purdue but ended up returning to Butler Community College.

Per 247Sports, Walker plans on visiting Colorado in December and then enrolling. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

“I’m going in there to play and make a huge impact with the two years I have left,” Walker told 247Sports. “I have to really make those count and I feel like the school and coaches can help me achieve that.”

Walker has also received offers from Houston, Memphis, Texas State, Georgia Southern and Syracuse, according to 247Sports.
