The win put the Celtics ahead 1-0 in the best-of-seven series against the Indiana Pacers. The winner of this series will head to the NBA Finals and take on the winner of the Minnesota Timberwolves / Dallas Mavericks series.
Holiday played in a team-high 48 minutes in the game, and also dished out 8 assists and ripped down 7 rebounds. It has been a great start of the week for Holiday, as earlier in the week he was named to the All-NBA defensive team second team.
