Former Vol quarterback Joshua Dobbs started for Arizona at San Francisco in Week 4.
The 49ers defeated Arizona, 35-16.
Dobbs completed 28-of-41 passing attempts for 265 yards and two touchdowns versus the 49ers. He also recorded 48 rushing yards on 12 attempts.
Dobbs played quarterback at Tennessee from 2013-16.
He recorded 7,138 passing yards, 53 passing touchdowns, 2,160 rushing yards, 32 rushing rushing touchdowns, 62 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns for the Vols.
Dobbs was selected by Pittsburgh in the fourth-round (No. 135 overall) of the 2017 NFL draft.
Arizona traded a 2024 fifth-round draft pick to Cleveland for Dobbs and a 2024 seventh-round draft selection ahead of the 2023 season.
