Josh Richardson scores five points as Sixers rout Rockets.

ORLANDO — Former University of Tennessee basketball player Josh Richardson scored five points, grabbed one rebound and had one assist as the Philadelphia 76ers routed the Houston Rockets, 134-96, in the regular-season finale for both teams Friday night.

Now the Sixers (43-30) and Houston (44-28) can turn their attention to the league’s playoffs which tip off this week in the Central Florida bubble.

Philadelphia is the Eastern Conference’s No. 6 seed and it will face its longtime rival, the Boston Celtics. The Celtics finished third in the conference this season.

Game 1 of the series is slated for Monday at Orlando’s HP Field House.

Tip-off is at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The series features three former Volunteers. Richardson and Tobias Harris are starters for the 76ers, while Grant Williams, a first-round draft pick for the Celtics in last summer’s NBA draft, is a role player for Boston.

The Rockets, the No. 4 seed in the West, will take on No. 5 Oklahoma City (44-28) to open that series on Tuesday.
