Josh Richardson continued his solid first season with the Dallas Mavericks.
Richardson, a former University of Tennessee basketball player, scored 15 points and pulled down one rebound to help the Magic notch a 113-100 victory over the Rockets Monday night in Houston.
He played 31 minutes in a start for Dallas (3-4).
Richardson has played seven games for the Mavericks this season and is averaging 13.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
The former Vol played for Philadelphia last season. He was drafted by the Miami Heat where he played between 2015-19.
At Tennessee, Richardson was an All-Southeastern Conference as a senior in 2015. He was also a two-time member of the conference’s All-Defensive Team in 2014 and 2015.
