The NBA has been on hold since March 11 due to the global coronavirus pandemic as everybody is taking the necessary precautions to flatten the curve that represents the spread of the virus. Saturday was supposed to be a big day in the NBA as it represented the day that the NBA Playoffs were supposed to begin.
The Philadelphia 76ers, despite being just the 6 seed in the East, had a ton of expectations heading into the playoffs. They believed that they had a team that could successfully combat the size and length from both the Milwaukee Bucks and the Toronto Raptors and that they had a legitimate chance to reach the NBA Finals.
Shooting guard Josh Richardson went to Twitter to recognize the importance of the day as he posted a GIF of former Indianapolis Colts coach Jim Mora’s infamous “playoffs” rant.

There is optimism growing around the league that the NBA can resume the 2019-20 season and we may just see these Sixers in playoff action, but until then, we all must follow CDC guidelines to stop the spread. [lawrence-related id=29575,29582,29564]
