ORLANDO — After struggling in his first game back during the NBA’s restart, Josh Richardson posted a solid effort for the Philadelphia 76ers Monday night.
Richardson, a shooting guard and small forward for Philadelphia, scored 19 points, recorded two assists and pulled down a rebound in the 76ers’ narrow 132-130 victory over the San Antonio Spurs at Orlando’s Visa Athletic Center.
The win was Philadelphia’s first since the NBA season resumed this summer in the Central Florida bubble.
Richardson, who played at the University of Tennessee from 2011-15, struggled when Philadelphia returned to the hardwood on Aug. 1, scoring just four points in a loss to the Indiana Pacers.
He has played in 50 games this season and is averaging 13.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and three assists per game.
