The USA TODAY Sports football head coach salary database for 2023 was released on Tuesday.
Tennessee third-year head coach Josh Heupel is ranked top 10 in the updated salary database for 2023.
Heupel guided the Vols to an 11-2 record in 2022 and won the Orange Bowl versus Clemson. 2022 was the Vols’ first 11-win season since 2001 under head coach Phillip Fulmer.
Tennessee went 7-5 in 2021, Heupel’s first season as head coach.
