Josh Heupel provides injury update ahead of first fall camp practice

Josh Heupel provides an injury update ahead of Tennessee’s first fall camp practice.

Tennessee will kick off fall training camp Monday at Haslam Field.

Ahead of the Vols’ first fall training camp practice, second-year head coach Josh Heupel met with media and previewed the 2022 season.

Heupel discussed injuries on Tennessee’s team ahead of the Vols’ first fall training camp practice.

“Len’Neth (Whitehead) will be out for the entire year,” Heupel said. “He sustained an upper body injury a couple of weeks ago and had season-ending surgery. For the rest of our football team, we are pretty healthy. There are some guys we will build up over the course of training camp.

“LaTrell Bumphus is somebody who missed a portion of spring ball who we will continue to build up, but we are really in a healthy situation moving into training camp.”
