When Josh Chandler-Semedo transferred to Colorado in April, his lucky No. 7 was already taken by fellow linebacker Marvin II. But No. 8 will be just as great for the former West Virginia Mountaineer.
Chandler-Semedo was one of the last incoming transfers to have a jersey number settled and with fall camp beginning Monday, time was running out. The 2021 All-Big 12 honorable mention finally tweeted out on Thursday that he’ll sport No. 8 for his final college season. Plus, thanks to the NIL, we can also expect some Chandler-Semedo swag.
The expectations are high for him this year and along with Robert Barnes, Colorado has a couple of veteran lockdown linebackers to lean on.
I will be wearing #8 for my final season of college football. Merchandise coming soon 🙏🏾
