Jordan Seaton earns preseason true freshman All-American honors from On3

On3 is predicting a big freshman season from Jordan Seaton

Amid his first fall camp at the college level, Colorado football offensive tackle Jordan Seaton landed a spot on On3’s preseason true freshman All-American team on Monday.

Seaton was the Buffs’ lone representative on On3’s list and, surprisingly, the only Big 12 player who made the team. Listed at 6-foot-5 and 285 pounds, the former five-star prospect is expected to protect quarterback Shedeur Sanders’ blind side this upcoming season as Colorado’s starting left tackle.

On3 hasn’t been the only national outlet to give Seaton some attention this offseason. In June, the freshman standout earned preseason All-Big 12 honors from Athlon.

Here’s some of what On3’s Charles Power wrote on Seaton:

Seaton was among the most polished offensive linemen in the 2024 cycle, and he came into a program that was in sore need of upgrading talent at the position. Seaton, I think, has true positional versatility. We really like his ability as a tackle but he certainly could play inside as well. His skillset, with his physical strength, his power at the point of attack and his technical polish and pass protection, should bode well to making an early transition to the college game. He was a massive get for Deion Sanders and is the biggest high school commitment from the Buffaloes’ 2024 class.

Other Colorado true freshmen who could make an impact this season include wide receivers Drelon Miller and Kam Mikell, defensive lineman Brandon Davis-Swain and running back Micah Welch.
