The Arizona Cardinals have a few holes to fill on Sunday as they take on the Buffalo Bills this weekend. Three players were ruled out of the game with injuries, including starting defensive tackle Jordan Phillips.
Phillips missed practice all week with a hamstring injury and will not get to face his former team.
Also ruled out is starting right guard Justin Murray (hand) and rookie defensive lineman Leki Fotu (ankle). However, reinforcements could be coming for those positions. Guard J.R. Sweezy and rookie defensive lineman Rashard Lawrence, who have been on injured reserve, were designated for return this week. Both could be reinstated and Sweezy could step back into his starting role this weekend.
Running back Kenyan Drake, who is recovering from an ankle injury that kept him out of Week 9, was limited all week and is considered a Sunday decision. Kliff Kingsbury wants to see whether Drake can do what he normally does before deciding whether to play him.
Safety Budda Baker practiced on a limited basis for the first time all week on Friday and is questionable with a groin injury. He is trending towards playing.
Cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, who has a thigh injury, was limited all week and is also questionable, although he is expected to play. Tight end Maxx Williams (ankle) and safety Deionte Thompson (knee) are also both questionable after getting limited work in practice on Thursday and Friday. They both missed on Wednesday.
Quarterback Chris Streveler and lineman Lamont Gaillard were both back at practice as full participants on Friday. They both were ill on Thursday and did not practice. They will suit up ono Sunday.
