MADISON- In a recent tweet by Pro Football Focus, they listed the running backs from last season in college football with the most rush attempts with eight-plus defenders in the box.
AJ Dillon had the most with 240 attempts and Jonathon Taylor was listed second with 135 attempts. Both running backs performed really well last season by both finishing in the top six in rushing yards. Dillon was drafted number 62 overall by the Green Bay Packers, and Taylor was drafted number 41 overall by the Indianapolis Colts.
These running backs were both workhorse running backs in college, which caused their draft stock to drop, but both have high ceilings for their NFL potential. I am excited to see how both will perform this season, even though expectations are lowered because of the number of touches they received in college.

Who do you think will have the better rookie season between Jonathon Taylor and Austin Dillon? How much should career touches factor into draft stock? Let me know in the comments below.
