Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor is in line for a big extension, and it seems he’s made an important decision when it comes to his representation.
The 24-year-old running back reportedly is in the process of changing agents, according to Stephen Holder of ESPN.
Something to watch: Colts All-Pro RB Jonathan Taylor, in line for a possible extension this offseason, is in the process of changing agents.
Taylor has downplayed the issue, but this will be a tricky negotiation. A league-high 1811 yds in 2021 but an injury-marred season in 22.

A healthy Taylor is an electric weapon for any offense, regardless of the fact that the running back position has been devalued in recent years. He proved as much during the 2021 season when he led the NFL in 1,811 rushing yards.
However, Taylor dealt with a nagging ankle injury that required an offseason procedure, forcing him to miss essentially seven games during the 2022 campaign.
The contract negotiations will be interesting. The position has been devalued in recent seasons while Spotrac projects Taylor’s market value around the $13 million mark annually.
We’ll see if these talks heat up over the summer, and with the information we have, we should expect a deal to get done, barring a change from the front office.
