Indianapolis Colts running back was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for November thanks to his incredible play from Weeks 9-12, the league announced Thursday.
Taylor’s take over of the league has been historic. Given the fact that he was also named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for October as well, he’s the first offensive player in team history to earn the monthly honor in the same season.
During the month of November, Taylor took 88 carries for 556 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns while adding 15 receptions for 71 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown. He also earned the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award after setting a franchise-record five touchdowns against the Bills in Week 11.
Taylor currently leads the NFL in rushing yards (1,205), rushing touchdowns (14), 100-yard games (six) and scrimmage yards (1,541).
With five games remaining, there is a good chance Taylor finishes the season as the rushing champion and will be looking to continue his dominance while the Colts push for a playoff spot.
