Michigan State football was in a battle on Friday night and the Spartans fans certainly helped in the win over Florida Atlantic.
The Spartans’ defense came up with multiple key stops late to earn the victory over the Owls by the final score of 16-10. Michigan State’s offense struggled in the second half but the defense was able to stand tall to help preserve the win.
New Michigan State head coach Jonathan Smith was especially apprecitive of the Spartans fans in attendance on Friday. Following the win, Smith took to the social media platform X to thank Spartan Nation for the support and “huge impact” they had on the game.
