Michigan State football will be without another key offensive lineman for “likely” the rest of the year.
Spartans head coach Jonathan Smith met with the media on Monday and he provided an update on starting right guard Gavin Broscious’ injury from Saturday’s game vs. Prairie View A&M. And it’s not good.
Smith stated Broscious is “likely” done for the season. He suffered a lower leg injury in Saturday’s win vs. the Panthers and it didn’t look good at the time of the injury.

Broscious has started the past two games after previous starter Kristian Phillips suffered a season-ending injury. So Michigan State has now lost two key players on the offensive line in the first three games.
Michigan State returns to the field this week in a road game at Boston College. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET and will be televised on the ACC Network.
