Jonathan Smith provides injury update on star freshman WR Nick Marsh

It sounds like MSU star freshman wide receiver Nick Marsh is nearly back to full strength

Michigan State head coach Jonathan Smith is hopeful that star freshman wide receiver Nick Marsh will be back to 100% this week against Oregon.

Smith held his weekly radio show on Tuesday night and gave a brief update on Marsh’s status. He said Marsh has been at practice the past few days and hopes to be “100%” by the time Michigan State plays Oregon on Friday.

Marsh played this past week against Ohio State after missing the previous game at Boston College with an injury. He recorded two catches for 30 yards in the loss to Ohio State. On the year, Marsh has 13 receptions for 262 yards and one touchdown in four games.

Kickoff between the Spartans and Ducks is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET on Friday. The game will be televised nationally on FOX.
