Lincoln Riley and Josh Henson have very coachable players on the USC offensive line. Consider Jonah Monheim, a team-first player who will get some reps at left tackle in preseason camp, and who might be moved around the offensive line as the season goes along.
Monheim talked to USC’s 247Sports site about his position along the Trojans’ offensive front, and what his first priorities are every time he takes the field. USC fans are going to love his answers:

“My thinking is ‘What do I have to do today that the coaches are asking me to do for us to win on Saturdays?’ That’s all I’m thinking about,” Monheim said. “Whatever I’ve got to do to do my job for the unit, for my teammates, for this offense so we can do our job for the defense. I have full trust and confidence in the staff. Whatever they think is best for me, is best for the unit, I’m totally good with. I’ve got to go compete and earn that spot.”
“I’d say sides of the line is tough because you’re flipping body mechanics,” Monheim said about potentially changing positions. “You’re flipping strengths, how your muscles are working, how your legs are working. Timing, hands. Really, everything’s flipping, and if you’re not used to it, it can be an awkward transition.”
