Jon Jones not impressed by Ciryl Gane-Jairzinho Rozenstruik fight at UFC Fight Night 186

“All this standing around ain’t gonna fly when daddy comes home.”

[autotag]Ciryl Gane[/autotag] earned a win at UFC Fight Night 186. He did not, however, pick up an admirer in [autotag]Jon Jones[/autotag].

In fact, neither did [autotag]Jairzinho Rozenstruik[/autotag].

Gane remained undefeated after winning a unanimous decision over Rozenstruik with across-the-board scores of 50-45 on Saturday night at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The fight wasn’t particularly filled with action as Gane employed a strike-from-distance game plan, while Rozenstruik remained reluctant to let his hands go.

That prompted Jones to weigh in on Twitter as the bout was still in progress – and he was anything but impressed.

These boys better get used to pushing the pace, all this standing around ain’t gonna fly when daddy comes home. #ufcvegas20

Jones, the former two-time UFC light heavyweight champion, has undergone a physical transformation since last summer in anticipation of a move up to heavyweight.

Jones’ divisional debut isn’t set, although UFC president Dana White has indicated he will get a title shot against the winner of next month’s UFC 260 headliner between champ Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou.

Ngannou, for his part, seemed to mock Jones’ words on Twitter.

Daddy comes home? 🤣🤣🤣
