Since being cut from the NFL, former Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel has been attempting to make comeback after comeback as a pro football player.
He’s gone through the CFL and the AAF and everything else under the sun to try and work his way back to the NFL. Since the return of XFL was announced in 2018, Manziel has been speculated as a potential target for teams, given his notoriety.
Manziel, though, doesn’t seem to be interested.
He was in the AAF when it folded in 2019 because it’s owners couldn’t afford to keep the league going, and he sees the XFL going in the same direction.
ComebackSZN still alive if y’all ain’t know. Just not playing for another league that’s going to fold on you midway through the season

Cool. That’s all well and good. Making sure the place you work at is solid is always the smart move in any profession.
My thing is… where else does he think ComebackSZN or whatever is going down? He’s been cut from the NFL, banned from the CFL, the AAF doesn’t exist anymore, the Arena league folded too.
Not too many options out there, Johnny. Good luck to him, but he might be cutting himself short here.
