John Wolford got the start at quarterback for the Rams on Saturday, but his stint on the field didn’t last long. He took a big shot to the helmet from Jamal Adams in the first quarter and had to leave the game.
He was then taken to the locker room and did not return after suffering a neck injury. And according to the Associated Press, Wolford was taken away from the stadium in an ambulance, which is not a good sign.
The Rams later confirmed that Wolford was taken to the hospital for precautionary measures.

Wolford was making his second career start, with this being his first playoff game. Hopefully he’s OK and there was no serious injury suffered by the young quarterback.
Before leaving the game, Wolford was 3-for-6 with 29 yards, and also carried it one time for 2 yards.
