John Harbaugh says Lamar Jackson will be the greatest QB to ever play while defending Ravens QB

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh says Lamar Jackson will be greatest NFL quarterback ever when responding to criticism of star player

Lamar Jackson is the reigning two-time NFL MVP, but you wouldn’t know that based on the off-season and summer filled with scathing criticism of the quarterback.

During his Sunday press conference, head coach John Harbaugh predicted Jackson would be the greatest quarterback ever while defending the dual-threat star for nearly three minutes.

It was the second MVP award of Jackson’s career. His other came in 2019; only Jim Brown, Patrick Mahomes, and Kurt Warner won two MVPs in less time to start a career.

Last season, Jackson threw for 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns and ran for 821 yards and five scores. He helped the Baltimore Ravens (14-4) finish with the best record in the league, leading them to the No. 1 seed in the AFC and a playoff win over the Houston Texans.

Jackson received 45 of 50 votes for AP first-team All-Pro.
