The Tennessee Titans hardly looked like postseason contenders when they started the 2019 season with a 2-4 overall record.
But in Week 7, they handed Ryan Tannehill the reins at quarterback, and things seemed to turn around across the board.
The Titans made a run for the AFC Championship Game that no one saw coming, only to be prevented from a Super Bowl LIV appearance after a 35-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
But on their way to getting to that point, Tennessee had to go through the Baltimore Ravens, once a favorite to win it all ahead of even the Chiefs.
The Titans came away with the 28-12 victory over the Ravens in the Divisional Round, which quarterback Lamar Jackson blamed at least partially on his team underestimating the opponent.
“That’s what happened in the playoffs, and we end up losing to the team people had us favored over,” Jackson said. “It’s any given Sunday. You can’t underestimate no team, no opponent and that’s what we did.”
Ravens coach John Harbaugh recently spoke on the subject, saying that he respected Jackson’s opinion, but didn’t necessarily agree with it.
Harbaugh on Lamar Jackson's thoughts that Ravens took Titans lightly. Said he respects Jackson's opinion, but "I don't think we took them lightly personally. We just didn't play well."

Regardless of what the case may be, it’s safe to assume that Baltimore will play Tennessee with the utmost preparedness when the two face each other again in Week 11 of the 2020 season.
