Joey Meneses and the Nationals classily sent a young fan a ball after it was grabbed by another fan

This is awesome.

This is your reminder that if a baseball player throws a ball to a kid in the crowd, let the kid have it.

(Yes, this is something that the world needs reminding of!)

In the case of what happened with a young Washington Nationals fan, slugger Joey Meneses threw her a ball, but another, older fan reached out and grabbed it away from her.

The Nationals did the exact right thing and sent her a signed ball, along with a note from Meneses saying he wanted to make sure she got one. A very classy gesture.
