It wasn’t as exciting of a week in college football, chock full of upsets as some other weeks, and no top 10 matchups as there were last week, but it was still a conclusive slate on Saturday.
Though Georgia and Michigan football were both on bye in Week 8, Ohio State blew out Iowa, Alabama destroyed Mississippi State, Tennessee overmatched UT-Martin, Oklahoma State survived a stunner against Texas, TCU outlasted Kansas State, and others came into play.

As usual, Fox Sports’ premier analyst, Joel Klatt, updated his top 10 after the Week 8 top 25 concluded play, and while there weren’t any changes at the top, some teams got back into his top group.
