As many pundits do at the start of every college football season, there are plenty of overreactions to wins like one that Notre Dame had.
The Irish went on the road and used a fourth-quarter surge to defeat the Texas A&M 23-13, one of the best wins across the country following Week 1. With that there were surely going to be some reactions to if Notre Dame was legit, remember many believe that they often are overrated, but there is plenty of data that debunks that.
Fox Sports analyst [autotag]Joel Klatt[/autotag] was asked to pick which teams he believes are contenders or pretenders, and had a very interesting take on Notre Dame.

Not only does Klatt has the Irish as contenders, he has them going undefeated in the regular season, which would mean a berth in the [autotag]College Football Playoff[/autotag]. The question is what seed will they get, as they are unable to get a top-four seed due to not being affiliated with a conference.
Either way, if the Irish can host a game in Notre Dame Stadium for a CFP game, and it’s would be rocking. You may want to book your hotels early if you are trying to attend the game.
