Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris will return for Sixers against Timberwolves

The Philadelphia 76ers will have Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris return against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Philadelphia 76ers are getting a little healthier as they move forward with their 2021-22 season. After a long and arduous 6-game road trip where they went 2-4 and were shorthanded in all six games, they will now have some reinforcements on Saturday as they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Star big man Joel Embiid will return from the league’s health and safety protocols after missing nine games. He has not played since Nov. 6 against the Chicago Bulls when he then tested positive for COVID-19.

Tobias Harris will also return to the lineup on Saturday after he missed two games with a hip injury. With the return of Embiid and Harris, the Sixers will be missing Shake Milton who is dealing with left groin soreness.

The Sixers will be looking to get back in the right direction with Embiid back out on the floor. Philadelphia was 8-2 with their superstar big man playing and they obviously struggled a bit without one of the best players in the game regardless of position.
