The NBA season, and really the world as a whole, is on hold right now as everybody is trying to do their part in order to fight the spread of COVID-19. The Philadelphia 76ers have all done their part in order to help the city of Philadelphia and the surrounding areas and their work has continued.
Superstar big man Joel Embiid and managing partners Josh Harris and David Blitzer have donated a combined $1.3 million to Penn Medicine in order to help healthcare workers get through this tough time. They will need more supplied in order to properly fight this virus and this donation will help them in a big way.

This comes on the heels of Embiid already donating $500,000 to help coronavirus relief efforts and both Harris and Blitzer helping with the organization, Philabundance.
