Former Philadelphia 76ers forward Jimmy Butler continues to make things happen in the NBA Finals for the Miami Heat. Butler delivered a historic performance on Sunday night going for 40 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds to lead the Heat to a 115-104 Game 3 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
Butler was delivering performances like that in the past for the Sixers and former teammate Joel Embiid was caught reminiscing again on Butler’s time with Philadelphia. Embiid was tweeting throughout these playoffs after Heat games as he has been keeping an eye on them and Butler, himself.

What Butler did on Sunday night was every sense of the word. With Miami missing Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo, the Heat needed a superhuman game from their best player and he brought it. Miami was essentially in a must-win situation facing the possibility of going down 0-3. They could not lose this game and Butler delivered when it mattered most.
