With the NBA currently in downtime as they await a resumption of the 2019-20 season which has been suspended since March 11, now is the time for everybody’s rankings of the top players to be released.
ESPN’s First Take, which is led by the notorious Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman, has been releasing their top 15 players in the NBA and Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid comes in at a peculiar spot. He was ranked 11th on the list and which shows how talented he is averaging 23.4 points and 11.8 rebounds on the season despite having to share the low post position with Al Horford and, at times, Ben Simmons.

The player ranked just ahead of Embiid is Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic who he and Embiid are always matched up with in the “best center in the game” conversation. First Take has Jokic ranked 10th on their list.
