Joel Embiid, Meek Mill, Sixers take over Super Bowl in Miami

The Philadelphia 76ers took over Super Bowl LIV in Miami with a deep Philly connection.

While the Philadelphia 76ers are trying to get back on track, they just happened to have an off day in Miami on the day of Super Bowl LIV on the eve of an important matchup with the Miami Heat.

When presented with this precious opportunity, one has to take advantage of it.

That’s exactly what the Sixers did on Sunday when they invaded Hard Rock Stadium as a squad. While Ben Simmons was there and spending time with Kendall Jenner, the All-Star point guard ended up finding teammates Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris as well as Philadelphia native Meek Mill and co-owner Michael Rubin. In the process, they took the hardest photo of 2020.

The Sixers have a lot of work to do to move up in the standings in the Eastern Conference and continue to try and secure home-court advantage for the playoffs, but these guys are human. They should absolutely take some time away from the floor and refresh before a big matchup on Monday. [lawrence-related id=24764,24754,24736]
