The Philadelphia 76ers will return home on Wednesday for a rematch with the Washington Wizards after knocking off those same Wizards on Monday night on the road. They will be looking to build off their 3-game win streak to end their 4-game road trip.
The Sixers were hoping that Joel Embiid would be able to return to the lineup on Wednesday, but there is no guarantee. The big fella was out for Monday’s contest with the Wizards due to a non-COVID illness and he is now listed as questionable for the rematch at home due to the same illness that is hampering him a bit.

The Sixers did win two games on their road trip with Embiid sitting so that is something that Philadelphia can use as an example for this matchup if he cannot go on Wednesday. The good thing for Philadelphia is they have been able to find success in playing with pace without the superstar big man.
