The Philadelphia 76ers needed a win in the worst way on Thursday. They lost the first three games of a four-game road trip and had to face questions about team chemistry and their coach. Winning heals all and that was on their mind as they invaded the Fiserv Forum to face the Milwaukee Bucks.
The issue is, they were on the road and not at home. For this team, that makes a huge difference.
The Sixers fell to the Bucks on Thursday 112-101 to finish up a disheartening 0-4 road trip. Joel Embiid, who said on Wednesday that the Sixers need to sacrifice more offensively, struggled again as he shot 6-for-26 for 19 points and 11 rebounds. This comes after a tough night against the Boston Celtics in the second game of this trip and the tough night against the Miami Heat where he only took four shots in the second half.
Tobias Harris led Philadelphia with 25 points while Al Horford had 15 points and Ben Simmons added 11 points, 14 rebounds, and eight assists.
Unlike in their Christmas Day win, the Sixers had issues against league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo as he scored 36 points with 20 rebounds and six assists.

The road trip was incredibly tough for this team, but they have a chance to turn things around quickly as they return home on Friday to host the Memphis Grizzlies. [lawrence-related id=25112,25106,25083]
