Before the Philadelphia 76ers escaped with a 118-117 win over the Utah Jazz on Saturday night, star big man Joel Embiid found himself in the middle of the Jazz dance team before tipoff.
Embiid was standing at center court ready to tip the game, but the Jazz dance team was still giving its final pregame performance to hype the fans at Vivint Arena. Rather than move out of their way, Embiid did what he does, and had some fun.
The big fella stood there and did not move out of their way. Instead, he did a little dance move with the team before the game began.

Afterward, Embiid talked with NBC Sports Philadelphia and he gave his reasoning for not moving out of the way:
I had to kind of get myself going. Those were not my dance moves. I got way better dance moves. I was just vibing and trying to get my rhythm going. I’m a great dancer.
