TORONTO–This entire Round 1 series between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Toronto Raptors has been a physical one. Both teams have been tough, they have been battling, and there has been a lot of complaining about the officials on both sides.
Joel Embiid was caught golf clapping towards the officials as he was walking off the floor after the team’s Game 4 loss on Saturday and he decided to take the advice he told Toronto coach Nick Nurse earlier in the series.
“I’m gonna take my own advice and not complain about fouls, but like I was doing at the end of the game, they did a great job,” said Embiid. “I admire the job that they did today. To me, it felt like they had one job coming in here tonight and they got it done. So congrats to them.”

With Game 5 on the horizon back in Philadelphia on Monday, Embiid has his eyes on making life tough for the Raptors.
“Next game, if they’re not gonna call it, I’m gonna be even more aggressive offensively and defensively,” he said. “If they wanna give them fouls or if they wanna call no fouls, really gotta make them earn it and really be physical.”
