Joe Montana lovingly refers to Gronk as ‘that big knucklehead tight end’

See why Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana lovingly referred to Rob Gronkowski as a knucklehead.

At 43 years old, Bucs quarterback Tom Brady is hoping he can still find success in the final years of his career, the way Peyton Manning and Brett Favre (to an extent) did after they left the only franchises they’d ever known.

Another Hall of Fame quarterback to make a move like Brady was Joe Montana, who was traded from the Niners to the Chiefs after helping San Francisco win four Super Bowls.

Montana recently spoke with Mackenzie Salmon of SportsPulse about Brady’s move to the Buccaneers, while offering his own insight and experience from his move to the Chiefs.

When Montana talked about adding Brady to this potent Bucs offense, he also lovingly referred to Rob Gronkowski as “that big knucklehead tight end.”
