Tennessee redshirt senior quarterback Joe Milton III earned Maxwell Player of the Week Award honors after Week 13.
The Vols defeated Vanderbilt, 48-24, in Week 13.
Milton III completed 22-of-32 passing attempts for 383 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions against Vanderbilt. He also rushed for 11 yards and two touchdowns.
His six touchdowns were the most in a single game by a Vol since Jonathan Crompton (five passing, one rushing) versus Memphis on Nov. 7, 2009. Milton III was also the first Vol to accomplish the feat in a Southeastern Conference game since Erik Ainge recorded seven passing touchdowns against Kentucky on Nov. 24, 2007.
