Joe Harris passes Vince Carter on Nets’ all time 3-pointers made list

Night after night, Joe Harris is making Brooklyn Nets history with his precision 3-point shooting.

With every 3-pointer he drills, Joe Harris is making Brooklyn Nets history. However, that’s typically with his first 3-point make of every game, extending the franchise record for most 3-pointers made in consecutive games each night — the record currently stands at 75 game after nailing one in the first quarter of Wednesday’s loss to his old team, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

That make also brought Harris even with Nets legend Vince Carter on the franchise’s all-time 3-pointers made list. Later on in the night, Brooklyn’s sharpshooter would pass the future Basketball Hall of Famer with his second 3-pointer of the game, finishing with three in Wednesday’s loss.

Harris now has now made 640 3-pointers in a Nets uniform, which is third-most all time in franchise history. Carter is now No. 4 with 638.

Only two Nets legends remain in Harris’ path. Kerry Kittles is No. 2 in franchise history with 687, while Jason Kidd is the leader with 813.
