Joe Harris is staying right where he belongs.
The sharpshooting wing spent the last four years as a member of the Brooklyn Nets organization, and he’s decided he’d like to stick around to see the Kevin Durant-Kyrie Irving era through.
Shams Charania of The Athletic was the first to report Harris has re-signed with the Nets. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski was the first to report the two parties agreed on a four-year, $75 million deal to keep the sharpshooter in Brooklyn.
Harris’ agency, Priority Sports, also announced he agreed to terms with the Nets.
Coming into the offseason, Nets general manager Sean Marks expressed on multiple occasions that re-signing Harris was his top priority ahead of the 2020-21 season.
In his four seasons with the Nets, Harris has shot 43% from 3-point territory, averaging 12 points per game in the process. Last season, Harris shot 42.4% from deep after leading the league in 3-point shooting (47.4%) the year before.
