Joe Gibbs Racing’s 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season in review

Joe Gibbs Racing had a good year in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Here, you can check out the NASCAR team’s 2023 season in review!

[autotag]Joe Gibbs Racing[/autotag] didn’t end the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season with the championship; however, there was still a ton of success in the series. John Hunter Nemechek, the driver of the No. 20 car, won seven races while making the Championship 4. It was a great season for Nemechek, who came up just short after overshooting Turn 1 on the final restart.

As for Sammy Smith, he earned his first career Xfinity Series victory at Phoenix Raceway. It was a solid season for Smith, who had trouble finishing races for the No. 18 team. Outside of the two full-time drivers, Denny Hamlin, Ryan Truex, and Ty Gibbs earned three victories, giving Joe Gibbs Racing 11 wins during the 33-race season.

Now, Joe Gibbs Racing has a completely different lineup for the 2024 NASCAR season. Sheldon Creed and Chandler Smith will be the team’s new full-time drivers while having two star-studded All-Star cars featured by Aric Almirola. It was a great year for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Xfinity Series, but 2024 could be one of their best seasons yet.
