Joe Gibbs Racing linked to two new NASCAR drivers for Xfinity in 2025

Joe Gibbs Racing has been linked to two NASCAR drivers for the Xfinity Series in 2025. Which two drivers could join Brandon Jones at JGR?

Joe Gibbs Racing has already confirmed one driver for its NASCAR Xfinity Series program in 2025. On Tuesday morning, Joe Gibbs Racing announced that Brandon Jones will return to the NASCAR team on a multi-year contract starting in 2025. However, who will join Jones at Joe Gibbs Racing next year? Two young NASCAR drivers have been linked to the organization.

When discussing which NASCAR drivers could be full-time with Joe Gibbs Racing in the Xfinity Series next season, FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass name-dropped Taylor Gray and William Sawalich. Gray currently drives full-time for TRICON Garage in the NASCAR Truck Series, while Sawalich drives for Joe Gibbs Racing in several ARCA divisions.

Gray has made select starts with Joe Gibbs Racing in the Xfinity Series, while Sawalich has been patiently waiting due to NASCAR’s age requirement. Sawalich will compete in several Xfinity Series races to close out the 2024 season. Both drivers have been heavily linked to Joe Gibbs Racing in 2025 and could join Jones as teammates sooner rather than later.
