The Cleveland Browns didn’t get too much of a fight from the New York Jets during Thursday Night Football for much of the game, as Cleveland led by double digits from the first quarter on.
Things got so slow for Browns quarterback Joe Flacco on the sideline during such a commanding performance that he seemingly nodded off for just a second while trying to stay awake before going back into the game.
That’s how bad the Jets were on Thursday night for much of the game; they literally almost put Flacco to sleep on the sideline. You can’t make this up.
Maybe the next Cleveland opponent will put up a bit more of a fight and keep Flacco more awake during prime time?

This is the kind of video that makes the Flacco comeback so fascinating, as it’s clear that the new Browns quarterback is also adjusting to being a surprise starter who was out of the league for most of the season.
We commend Flacco for working into the later hours of the night to keep Cleveland a fierce contender in the AFC, and we hope he got a great night of sleep once this game ended.
