Joe Doyle returns to Tennessee.

KNOXVILLE — Tennessee redshirt junior punter Joe Doyle entered the NCAA transfer portal in January.

Doyle has decided to stay at Tennessee and is part of the Vols’ 2020 roster.

The 6-foot, 204-pound Farragut, Tennessee native appeared in 25 games during the 2018 and 2019 seasons for the Vols.

Doyle totaled 86 punts for 3,542 yards with a career-long of 71 yards. He also recorded 17 punts inside the 20-yard line and eight touch-backs during his career at Tennessee.
