KNOXVILLE — Tennessee redshirt sophomore punter Joe Doyle has entered the NCAA transfer portal.
The 6-foot, 204-pound Farragut, Tenn. native appeared in 25 games during the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
Doyle totaled 86 punts for 3,542 yards with a career-long of 71 yards. He also recorded 17 punts inside the 20-yard line and eight touch-backs.
“It’s been an honor to be a Tennessee Volunteer and to play for the team for the last three seasons,” Doyle said. “After a lot of consideration, as well as guidance from my family, close friends, and mentors, I have decided to put my name in the Transfer Portal and explore other opportunities.”
