It’s no secret that Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase had a good thing going during their LSU days.
On a historic 2019 season, Chase was a favorite target of Burrow’s, recording 84 receptions for 1,780 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Burrow himself posted a completion percentage of 76.3%, passing for 5,671 yards with 60 touchdowns.
So far, it seems like they’re picking up right where they left off, now playing together at the professional level.

Burrow told reporters during OTA’s that he felt his chemistry with Chase is “right back to where it was.”
Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan, who has also noted Burrow’s improved connection with Tyler Boyd and Tee Higghins, has taken noticed of the rapport built between Burrow and Chase.
“The cool thing is Joe’s done that with Ja’Marr for two years and this is the third year of doing it,” Callahan said, via Tyler Dragon of the Cincinnati Enquirer. “They got a good rapport. You can see it and feel it. They know how to communicate with each other. I think that’s exciting for me. They don’t really need to get to know each other. They do know each other.”
With it still being the offseason and Chase entering just his first year in the NFL after being selected in the first round by the Bengals, all we can do is make predictions.
But it’s hard to imagine these two won’t be setting records moving forward.
