It wasn’t always easy, but it seems negotiations between the NFLPA and NFL have finally settled on a finalized schedule for training camp.
And just in time — Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow should arrive at Paul Brown Stadium over the next few days.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, NFL clubs just received an email from the NFL with report dates.
That includes the all-important date of Tuesday, July 21: The report date for rookies.
Barring a change, that means Burrow can report Tuesday, where he’ll go through normal football proceedings and also take a coronavirus test, per league procedures and rules.
Provided Burrow passes that test, he’s permitted on the field two days later, July 23. After he reports, it wouldn’t be a shock to see news of his signing his rookie deal either — the Bengals don’t anticipate a problem finalizing his deal.
