Joe Burrow did a little bit of everything at Cincinnati Bengals OTAs on Thursday.

Burrow warmed up and then showed some serious mobility in drills, signaling his injury comeback bid remains right on pace.

He then took part in 7-on-7s, where he went perfect while spreading the ball around the field. It shouldn’t be any shocker to hear that one of his favorite targets was former LSU teammate and fifth-overall pick Ja’Marr Chase.

Right after that performance, Burrow told reporters he’s still right where he wants to be in terms of his comeback — meaning Week 1 of the regular season. Then, Zac Taylor called off the final two days of practice.

Here’s ESPN’s Ben Baby documenting the heat from Burrow:

While it’s merely a 7-on-7 drill, it’s noteworthy nonetheless given Burrow’s rapid recovery that has him ahead of schedule. Feel free to call it a sampler of what’s to come later this summer in training camp, too.
