With Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs advancing to the Super Bowl yet again, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has also come under the spotlight again.
With Mahomes slipping past Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC title game over the weekend, Burrow again remains the only active quarterback to actually get the best of him in the playoffs.
So far, only Burrow and Tom Brady have managed the feat, with Brady obviously getting it down in the Super Bowl back in Super Bowl LV.
It’s a pretty wild thing to consider in context when one takes a quick look at all of the quarterbacks Mahomes has bested:

And hey, this doesn’t remove the sting of this injury-riddled, unlucky season for the Bengals by any means for fans.
But with Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson failing to get it done, Bengals fans already have proof that their franchise passer is more than capable in the quarterback-driven league’s premier head-to-head quarterback matchup.
