The legend of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow continues to grow.
Burrow is back around the team despite his season-ending injury and made some headlines on his very first day back for setting up a card table in the locker room, one-handed.
And on the second day back, defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo has revealed that Burrow inserted himself into the third-down install meetings for the defense in an effort to better understand how that side of the ball does things.
It’s a funny note, to say the least, as Anarumo revealed the tidbit with Kay Adams on Friday before Week 13:
Joe Burrow was hanging out in the 3rd down install meeting today. 😂
What an animal.

And while funny, it’s also pretty revealing. That Burrow’s getting so creative with his “off” time in an effort to improve pretty much says it all.
